One of the largest local attractions to Mid-State Regional Airport is the Black Moshannon State Park.  Located just two miles from the airport, Black Moshannon State Park offers year round activities on its nearly 4,000 acres of forests and wetlands.  The Park is surrounded by the Moshannon State Forest of more than 43,000 acres.
